What Is a Motion Sensor?
A motion sensor is an electronic device that detects when a person moves within a set area and then sends a signal to another device. That device can be a lighting circuit, an alarm panel or a control system. For example, a motion sensor switches a light on when someone enters into a corridor, and it switches the light off when no one is in the room.
